I finally did it. I made the commitment to participate in this week’s challenge. After all, a new “official” tangle just came out, so what better time than now to give it a whirl. It’s actually two tangles in one: Chainging and Punzel. Chainging is the basis for Punzel, which in the words of Rick Roberts, is a tangleation of the former.
This is a fun tangle that requires a little more concentration. Totally enjoyable, and loads of variations await.
If you want to try your hand at Chainging and Punzel, here’s how:
You don’t want to draw the red dots in Punzel. Those are just there to give you a “visualization of where the next element begins as you proceed to “draw behind” in a Zentangle way.” You can see more of this wonderful new tangle at zentangle.blogspot.com.
See my blog post today… I’ve tagged you!

yay!
Simple but effective – like how you used scale to make it so interesting.
Love the beads you’ve added to the Punzel…beautiful work!
Oooo! I love the little beads that run down the punzel strands. Beautiful!
Glad you joined in on the challenge. I like your version of Punzel!
Very nice! I hope I get a chance to participate this week.
